International Delhi Public School, Ghoumanhasan Organizes Cancer Awareness Session on World Cancer Day for students of Grades VI to VIII, aiming to promote awareness about health and well-being among young learners. The school was honoured to welcome Dr. Surbhi Kudyar, Consultant in Surgical Oncology at American Oncology Institute (AOI), Jammu, who graced the occasion as the Special Guest for the Special Awareness Session on World Cancer Day. During the session, Dr. Surbhi Kudyar interacted with the students and conducted an awareness session on cancer. She stressed the importance of discussing cancer-related issues and encouraged students to follow healthy habits and maintain a good lifestyle. The session was well received by the students. It helped them understand the importance of health awareness and adopting healthy practices from an early age.
