Team IDPS Ghoumanhasan was all decked up to celebrate the joyous Graduation Ceremony of our Blossomers – EMERGE 2026. The campus reflected an ambience of grace and grandeur where every corner echoed joy, pride, and accomplishment. The ceremony beautifully honoured the growth, milestones, and new beginnings of our young learners. The programme commenced on an auspicious note with the gracious welcome of our esteemed Chief Guest, Ms. Pallavi Mishra (IAS), SDM Marh, along with our distinguished Guest of Honour, Dr. Fayza, Assistant Professor at SPMR College of Commerce. We were equally privileged to host our Special Guests, Ms. Mamta Chopra, a renowned educationalist, and Mr. Gurdev Kumar (JKAS), Joint Director Education and a proud parent of International Delhi Public School Ghoumanhasan. Social Justice Day Celebration
International Delhi Public School Ghoumanhasan organized a special session in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority, Jammu to promote awareness about equality, rights, and justice among students. We were honoured to host: Ms. Maleeka Sharma, Sub-Judge & Secretary, DLSA Jammu Dr. Nitan Sharma, Assistant Professor, Law School, University of Jammu Advocate Uma Kapahi, Practicing Lawyer, J&K High Court. The session highlighted social justice, fundamental rights, gender equality, and the importance of legal aid. We are delighted to share that IDPS Ghoumanhasan secured Second Position in the Flower Arrangement Category during the Krishi Shikhar Sammelan & Kisan Mela organized by the Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology (SKUAST), Jammu. Our students beautifully showcased their creativity, innovation, and artistic skills, competing with great enthusiasm and bringing home the Second Prize. IDPS at the Flower Show – SKUAST, Jammu
Our students proudly participated in the prestigious Flower Show at SKUAST, Jammu, presenting an exquisite display of diverse and vibrant flower arrangements. Their creativity, aesthetic sense, and understanding of different floral varieties were beautifully reflected in their thoughtfully curated exhibit. The children enthusiastically explained the unique features and varieties of flowers to the Floriculture Department, showcasing not only artistic talent but also confident communication skills. Their display attracted widespread appreciation and gained everyone’s attention for its elegance and presentation. It was indeed a proud and memorable moment as the students had the honour and privilege of meeting His Excellency, the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha Ji, and presenting a token of gratitude on behalf of IDPS. Through visually rich presentations and interactive explanations, students gained a deeper understanding of celestial bodies and scientific concepts beyond the classroom. An interactive question-and-answer session further enhanced the learning experience, where students actively participated and were rewarded for their thoughtful responses, adding excitement and motivation to the program. International Delhi Public School, Ghoumanhasan Organizes Cancer Awareness Session on World Cancer Day for students of Grades VI to VIII, aiming to promote awareness about health and well-being among young learners. The school was honoured to welcome Dr. Surbhi Kudyar, Consultant in Surgical Oncology at American Oncology Institute (AOI), Jammu, who graced the occasion as the Special Guest for the Special Awareness Session on World Cancer Day. During the session, Dr. Surbhi Kudyar interacted with the students and conducted an awareness session on cancer. She stressed the importance of discussing cancer-related issues and encouraged students to follow healthy habits and maintain a good lifestyle. The session was well received by the students. It helped them understand the importance of health awareness and adopting healthy practices from an early age. The school management expressed sincere gratitude to Dr. Surbhi Kudyar for her valuable time and guidance.
